It's never been more important for citizens of the United States to take responsibility for homeland security in their local communities.

AWS provides a variety of products and services that, thanks to the agreement with the National Weather Service, enable business and schools to take an active role in homeland security by expanding and actively participating in the Homeland Security WeatherBug Network.

While the network is already 6,000 stations strong, new stations that feed local weather conditions into the network help make it even more effective at savings lives and preventing casualties.
