WeatherNet Classroom FeaturesMapping and GraphingThe Mapping feature of WeatherNet Classroom allows users to view topographical, regional maps of their school and up to 5 additional sites allowing users to compare weather conditions and observe live local weather information. Mapping can also be customized to view preferred weather information by selecting and changing the weather parameters for real-time weather information. The Map Gallery feature of WeatherNet Classroom allows educators to compare 6 regions of the U.S. plus Alaska and Hawaii. Multiple maps within each region show weather information from other WeatherNet Systems across the country and allows users to select and change weather parameters. WeatherNet Classroom also allows educators to Graph using live, real-time weather information. The Graphing feature can be used to plot one or two weather parameters using historical weather information from other AWS School WeatherNet Program participants.Live DisplayThe Live Display feature of WeatherNet Classroom allows weather information to be transmitted in real-time and is updated with new live weather information every few seconds. Users can view weather information from their school site or other sites within the WeatherNet Network.
