[QUESTION]

Under Windows NT, I keep getting a message that I am running low on virtual memory. What should I do?

[ANSWER]

Try this first...

  • Make a shortcut to Airwatch on your desktop
  • Right click on your shortcut and pick "Properties"

  • Click the "Shortcut" tab
  • Check the box towards the middle called "Run in Separate Memory Space"
  • If that doesn't help you, then try...

As long as you have plenty of hard drive space, you can increase your amount of virtual memory by the following steps:

    1. Click on the "Start" menu.

    2. Select "Settings" and then "Control Panel" from the menus.

    3. Double Click on the "System" Icon. A system control panel dialog will be displayed.

    4. Click on the tab labeled "Performance".

    5. In the Virtual Memory group box, click on the "Change" icon.

    6. Increase the value shown in the "Initial Size" edit box by 25.

    7. The number in the "Maximum Size" box should be equal to the "Initial Size"+50.

    8. Click on the "Set" button to save the settings and then click Okay.

    9. Close all the open dialogs. You will be asked to reboot your computer. Select "Yes" to reboot your computer.
