We would love to have your site as part of our online network, and show your real-time weather data on an Internet page. However, there are several steps that must be completed before we can show your real-time weather data on the Internet.
You must have dedicated internet access (T1, ISDN) available 24 hours a day.
The computer to be used as the "weather server" must be connected to your Datalogger/MCU and the Internet and left running 24 hours a day. Check our latest System Requirements before choosing or buying a computer.
The "weather server" computer must have a static, Class-C IP address. This IP address must be a legal external address as well. If you have a firewall or proxy server, please read this FAQ.
Contact AWS to find out how to order the AWS Server program. This program is required to display your weather data live on the Internet.
Once the above steps are completed, contact us again to finalize your settings. Our webmaster can then create a web page to display your site's live real-time weather data. If you want to see examples of other school's data pages, Click Here.
