How do we extend the distance from the logger to the sensors?

The standard AWS systems with serial numbers 96XXX and lower come with a cable set that is 200’ long. If a greater distance is required , a 100’ extension cable set is available bringing the length to its 300’ maximum. Due to sensor response characteristics, under no circumstances should the cable run be more than 300’.

Systems with serial numbers 97xxx and higher can maintain a much longer cable run from the MCU and the Sensor Suite. The length of the cable extension on the 97 systems should be limited to 500 feet (total maximum length = 700 feet).
