[QUESTION]

Why is my digital display saying "No Signal"

[ANSWER] This display message indicates that the data from the Datalogger/MCU is not reaching the Display unit.

1.) Check to ensure that all the AWS system components, particularly the Datalogger/MCU power, are functioning properly. If in doubt, try feeling the case of the power adapter to see if it is warm to the touch. If feels overly hot, it may not be supplying sufficient or incorrect voltage to power the adapter and may need to be replaced.

2.) Check that the cable from the Data Logger/MCU to the display is the correct one (cross over wiring termination) and that it is securely connected at both ends.

3.) If the above items are correct, the Data Logger/MCU may be at fault. Test this by unplugging the display cable from the back of the Data Logger/MCU and inserting the Display Data Test Indicator. It should blink on\off continually. If not the Data Logger/MCU will require service. Contact AWS Technical Support for assistance.
