FARMERS ALMANAC TV AND WEATHERBUG LAUNCH MICROSITE

Savannah, Ga. and Germantown, Md. – September 4, 2007 — Farmers' Almanac TV™, in partnership with WeatherBug®, the leading provider of live local weather information, announced today the launch of a new microsite dedicated to the Farmers' Almanac® 2008 forecast.

The new site, available at http://weatheroutlook.farmersalmanac.com/, includes an overview of the Farmers’ Almanac long-term weather outlook for the U.S. and Canada, weather lore, and video clips from Farmers Almanac TV. WeatherBug will handle advertising sales for the site.

Additionally, Farmers' Almanac TV's weather-related video content was recently launched on WeatherBug's desktop application and Web site, www.weatherbug.com.

"WeatherBug is a terrific partner. Their accurate, live, local weather information is a perfect complement to our long-range weather outlooks, and Farmers' Almanac TV’s captivating video," said Bill Chisholm, CEO of Farmers' Almanac TV.

"We are excited to partner with Farmers' Almanac TV on the microsite and feature their content on our Web site and desktop application for the more than 16 million people who visit our Web properties every month," said Michael Rosen, senior vice president and general manager of WeatherBug consumer. "With partners like these we continue to enhance the value we bring to consumers and our advertisers."

Included on the new microsite:

  • "Overview of the 2007 – 2008 Forecast" which outlines the Farmers' Almanac's predictions for winter, spring and summer in different regions of the country.
  • "A Conversation with Peter Geiger" video featuring the editor of the Farmers' Almanac discussing how the Outlook is formulated, its history, and important lore.
  • A "Weather Lore" section that features how people used all the things around them – animals’ behavior, birds and plants — as clues to weather patterns.

"Weather is the most talked about subject on earth," reveals Peter Geiger, Philom and Editor of the Farmers' Almanac. "It is also one thing that affects just about all of us every day. This new microsite provides everything weather, both in text and video format, long-range and right now, and we’re proud to be part of this exclusive all-weather site."
