In 1992 AWS pioneered to School WeatherNet concept. Today, 106 television stations and more than 3,000 schools participate in the network. The Worldwide School WeatherNet continues to expand at a rate of more than 700 schools per year. In March of 1996 AWS continued its pioneering efforts with the announcement of AWS Online, the integration of Internet technology and the School WeatherNet.
