Wireless connectivity provides the ultimate in flexibility for AWS Weather Stations. No longer do you need expensive cables to transfer weather data over long distances. The GINA RF Transceiver set makes this possible. Two high quality radio frequency modems duplicate the cable between the Digital Display and the Data Logger or the computer and the Data Logger. Because the connection is wireless, it is possible to place multiple Digital Displays anywhere within the 5 mile range of the modems. Accessing a Data Logger and phone line from a computer on the opposite side of a building is also a simple matter and the quality and clarity of the signal provides for a reliable data stream. The Gina Transceiver Set comes with two complete RF Modems and is custom configured to be either a computer/Data Logger link or a Data Logger/Display link. All necessary cables and adapters are also included. |
