AWS Temperature/Humidity Sensor | |
![]() |
Housed in an aspirated shield on the PC-MET weather station mast is the combination outdoor temperature and humidity sensor. The shield makes it possible for the temperature sensor to be accurate to +/-1 degree farenheit. The humidity sensor has a margin of error of +/-2% from 40-98% relative humidity and +/-5% at less than 40% and more than 98%. |

AWS Rain Gauge | |

The self emptying tipping bucket rain gauge is designed for ease of maintenance and consistant reliability. It measures liquid precipitation with a threshold of 0.01 inches. Accurate to +/-2%, the rain gauge features a heavy duty screen to prevent clogging from falling debris. |

AWS Wind Sensor | |

Long life and accuracy are the two attributes most important to the designers of the Wind Sensor. The wind vane indicates direction broken down to sixteen compass points or 22 degree increments. The annemometer measures speed from a starting point of less than 1 mph and is accurate to +/-2%. |

AWS Light Sensor | |

The final outdoor sensor with the PC-MET weather station is the Light Sensor. Meant for qulitative purposes, the Light Sensor gives users a good numerical reference to amount of cloud cover and the daily sunlight cycle. It is accurate to +/-10%. |
